Superbet generously supports Stadiums Without Barriers

Another weekend of the “Stadiums Without Barriers” campaign and another thousands of zlotys, thanks to the involvement of fans and the Superbet brand, will go to Disabled Supporters’ Clubs. After the great success of the event in Zabrze, where before the international break, fans flocked to a special dart zone to raise money for fans with disabilities, it was time for more stadiums. This time, the special zone visited Katowice and Tychy.
The rules of the campaign were simple and attractive for sports fans – just approach the dartboard in the special Superbet zone located during the home matches of GieKSa and GKS Tychy and show your dart skills. The more accurate the throws, the more funds Superbet donate to the activation of fans with disabilities, associated with the Disabled Supporters’ Club of GKS Katowice and the same entity supporting GKS Tychy. Each point on the dartboard equaled one zloty in the pool.
On Friday, the special dart zone visited Katowice during the GieKSa match against Widzew Łódź. The Katowice audience, enjoying their return to the elite after a long break, eagerly joined in helping people with disabilities, flocking to try their hand at dart throwing. It was no different on Monday in Tychy, during the derby clash between GKS and Ruch Chorzów. Everyone was united not only by the desire to loudly support their favorites but also by the common goal of doing good.
Fans of all three clubs (including the earlier visit to Zabrze at the Górnik stadium) impressed not only with their involvement and the number of people who showed up in the Superbet zone. They also demonstrated that they are familiar with dart games and have top-notch hand-eye coordination. Thanks to them, Superbet donated a total of 20,000 zlotys to the stadium activation of fans with disabilities, joining the nationwide “Stadiums Without Barriers” campaign.
“Football is a beautiful sport, also because of its inclusiveness. There is no place for any barriers in football. Increasingly modern infrastructure helps ensure that fans with disabilities can also enjoy the sport. Thanks to the involvement of fans in our special dart zones, Disabled Supporters’ Clubs received additional funds for statutory purposes. And what makes us happiest is that it is really one group of fans helping another. It is an honor for us to be able to support this financially,” emphasizes Łukasz Seweryniak, general manager of Superbet Poland.
Poland Business Run 2024

On Sunday, as part of Superbet Poland tradition, 30 Superbetters participated at an amazing running charity initiative – the Poland Business Run. It was the third time when our Polish team attended, having a total of 60 people who have already taken part in three editions: in Warsaw, Katowice and this year even in Romania. This was not only an opportunity to do something good, but an excellent way for our people to connect and spend quality time.
Even more, this year, the charity kilometers were transformed into a real form of support for people with disabilities and women recovering after undergoing a mastectomy. This way we were able to help others while also raising awareness about health related causes among our team.
Stadium without barriers – edition 2024

A stadium without barriers, but with an extraordinary dart zone where every point thrown by fans translated into financial support for fans with disabilities. A spontaneous meeting with Jerzy Dudek, who also threw darts. His technique, worthy of the greatest football masters, resulted in record-breaking competition results during the match break, including three hits on the crossbar. The events at the stadium in Zabrze during the Górnik vs. Lechia match are another joint effort by Superbet, the club’s main sponsor, and the fans.
Although Górnik did not manage to score points this time, the recent home match against Lechia will be positively remembered by the fans. Once again, the fans were included by Superbet, the club’s main sponsor, in a joint activity that benefited not only the participants but also the Górnik Zabrze Disabled Fans Club.

– As part of the Stadiony Bez Barier (Stadiums Without Barriers) campaign, we once again wanted to do something good for fans with disabilities together with the fans from Zabrze. We are once again impressed by the commitment of Górnik fans and their big hearts, always ready to do something good together. In our special dart zone, every point thrown translated into złoty donated by Superbet to the statutory purposes of the KKN, and additionally, the fan received the same amount from us for themselves, in the form of a free bet to use in our app. The best could also win a Górnik fan shirt. In total, the engaged fans scored over 7,400 points, and we decided to round this amount up to a neat 10,000 złotys, donated to support the activation of fans with disabilities in Zabrze – emphasizes Katarzyna Gawlik, Marketing Director of Superbet Polska.
An additional attraction in the dart zone was the unexpected visit of Jerzy Dudek. The legend of Liverpool and the Polish national team tried his hand at throwing darts, later finding time for photos, autographs, and pleasant conversations with fans. The Superbet ambassador also took part in the official handing over of a check for 10,000 złotys to representatives of the Disabled Fans Club during the break of the match against Lechia.
Superbet supported the Angels during the Legendary Space Jam

The largest charitable sports event in the region could not do without the support of the Superbet foundation. During the Legendary Space Jam at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, our ambassador Sławomir Peszko wrote a check for 10,000 PLN, and the entire amount will support the House of Guardian Angels in aiding individuals from difficult backgrounds in Silesia.
The Legendary Space Jam with the Angels is an event with significant traditions in Katowice. As part of the sports competition on the volleyball and basketball courts, teams composed of sports and media stars face off against each other. Playing basketball and volleyball were, among others, Sławomir Peszko, Kuba Błaszczykowski, Paweł Domagała, Joanna Jędrzejczyk, Sylwia Bomba, Irek Bieleninik, Bartosz Obuchowicz, Ruda from Red Lips, Krzysztof Ignaczak, Mariusz Kałamaga, Bartosz Demczuk, Małgorzata Glinka, Magdalena Śliwa, Dariusz Dudek, and Zygmunt Chajzer.
The entire proceeds from ticket sales – and crowds of fans appeared in the stands, cheering on their idols – were donated to the association House of Guardian Angels, which has been working for over 30 years to help marginalized individuals and those from pathological environments. – Recently, the social situation of our wards has deteriorated significantly. More and more children come to us hungry, have problems bathing at home. That is why we have launched full steam ahead with nutrition and assistance. Every ticket is real help for children in need of support – says Monika Bajka, president of the House of Guardian Angels.
Superbet ensured an additional opportunity to raise funds for a noble cause. During halftime of the basketball match, five fans and five stars tried to shoot hoops side by side, and each successful shot was worth a thousand złoty donated to the “Angels” account. Although accuracy was not the best, then… Sławomir Peszko rode in on a white horse. – Superbet will still donate the full amount, 10,000 złoty for the House of Guardian Angels – announced the former Polish national football team representative and current ambassador of the bookmaker.
– We warmly congratulate each of the event’s participants, both those who competed on the field and the fans. We are proud to be part of such important initiatives. We work extensively for CSR initiatives, but we do not hide that the House of Guardian Angels, with which we have been cooperating for a long time, has an important place in our hearts. It was obvious to us that regardless of whether the participants hit the basket or not, we want to support them financially as much as possible – emphasizes Łukasz Seweryniak, CEO of Superbet Poland.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – 2024

Three auctions, three extraordinary prizes, and nearly 20,000 Polish złotys collected for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. Superbet enthusiastically joined the largest CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative in Poland, involving its ambassadors and partners. A total of 7,000 people clicked auctions pages, with 50 participants bidding.
Superbet’s first proposal in the WOŚP auctions was the opportunity to follow a selected home match of Lech Poznań in the Ekstraklasa (Polish top football league) from behind-the-scenes TV coverage. Thanks to collaboration with the official broadcaster of the league, Canal+, Superbet, as the strategic sponsor of Lech Poznań, offered football enthusiasts an exciting opportunity. The auction winner, who bid 5,800 złotys, will get to experience the TV production process on match day and witness a top-level football Ekstraklasa match from an unprecedented perspective.
‘We are delighted that both CANAL+ and our partners from Lech quickly embraced the idea of supporting WOŚP together. As Lech’s sponsor, we always prioritize fans and aim to give them something extraordinary. Hence, the desire to connect our partners and offer fans an exceptional experience at the stadium near Bułgarska Street. We are confident that this will be a memorable day. And most importantly, the funds raised will effectively contribute to treating lung diseases after the coronavirus pandemic,’ emphasizes Łukasz Seweryniak, CEO of Superbet Polska.
However, that’s not the end of the attractions proposed by the bookmaker. Also up for auction was… a walk with Mateusz Borek in his hometown of Dębica, combined with watching a local Wisłoka match. Mateusz Borek, one of Poland’s best football commentators and also an ambassador for Superbet, is a walking treasure trove of football anecdotes. So, it’s no wonder that fans were interested in the opportunity for such an informal meeting. This particular auction achieved the highest amount of 8,900 Polish złotys, contributing to the support of the Orchestra.
The third auction offers a VIP ticket package to the Superbet Poland Darts Masters 2024, the largest darts event in our country. The winner, in addition to the double VIP entry allowing access behind the scenes, will return home with a dartboard signed by the stars of the event. Thanks to this auction, an additional 4,000 złotys were donated to the WOŚP account.
– Superbet Poland Darts Masters was one of our biggest positive surprises last year. We knew that darts was an incredibly exciting sport, but the attendance and the immense energy of the audience exceeded our expectations as the title sponsor of the tournament. This year, the event will be even grander, so winning such an auction is like hitting the bullseye! – smiles Katarzyna Gawlik, Marketing Director of Superbet.
Legendary tournament and exceptional assistance

The indoor football tournament, Spodek Super Cup, returned to the legendary Katowice arena after a 26-year hiatus. Not only did it seamlessly adapt to the realities of the 21st century, but thanks to Superbet, the main event sponsor, the tournament also contributed to improving the lives of children from challenging backgrounds.
During the tournament, thousands of fans supporting the participating teams in the Spodek Super Cup filled the stands. Each and every one of them had the opportunity to use their muscles for a charitable cause. In the fan zone, weights and benches were set up, allowing participants to lift weights and contribute to the Dom Aniołów Stróżów (Guardian Angels’ Home) foundation. For every successful attempt, 10 Polish złotys were donated to the association, which has been supporting youth from economically disadvantaged and excluded environments for the past 30 years. The initiative extended beyond just the football players; even fans pumping iron on the bench press were part of this collective effort. Superbet Poland’s CEO, Łukasz Seweryniak, expressed their readiness to contribute up to 10,000 Polish złotys, depending on the participants’ strength and commitment.
The atmosphere in the stands evoked memories of the “golden years” of the Spodek tournament. Fans passionately cheered and, through their physical efforts, supported Dom Aniołów Stróżów, which assists children from challenging environments in Silesia and Zagłębie, providing crucial support for their life journeys. Thanks to Superbet’s sponsorship of the Spodek Super Cup, fans lifting weights in the designated fan zone collectively raised over 20,000 Polish złotys. Out of this amount, 10,000 złotys will directly benefit the foundation, while the remainder will go to Superbet accounts for football enthusiasts involved in this charitable endeavor.
Angels truly exist
The Association “Dom Aniołów Stróżów” has been operating in Katowice since 1991 to support individuals marginalized by society and coming from excluded environments. Initially, their focus was near the PKP railway station, providing emergency assistance to young people in crises related to addiction and homelessness. Since then, Dom Aniołów Stróżów has become a true home, offering shelter, care, and therapy to the most needy children and youth in Silesia and the Zagłębie region. Within the eight facilities run by the association, there are community centers, therapeutic kindergartens, family counseling services, and street programs. Every day, approximately 130 people receive assistance in these community centers and clubs.
“We strive to support not only major initiatives but also those that make a significant local impact. Dom Aniołów Stróżów has been a vital entity for over 30 years. As the main sponsor of Górnik Zabrze and the Spodek Super Cup, we want to be part of initiatives that are important to the people of Silesia,” emphasizes Katarzyna Gawlik, Marketing Director of Superbet Polska.
Mexican Wave of Goodness – thousands of zlotys to support diabetics

On a Thursday in July, a real treat awaited Kolejorz fans – an exciting European cup match against Zalgiris Kaunas. The football emotions on the pitch were accompanied by a unique support initiative – a real wave of goodness for diabetics.
The Mexican wave in the stands was symbolic. Each completed “lap” was equivalent to Superbet donating PLN 5,000 to the CukierAsy Association of Parents and Guardians of Children with Diabetes. Ultimately, three laps were completed in Poznań. Thus, as a result of the involvement of Kolejorz fans, the account of the organisation supporting diabetics was credited with PLN 15,000! For Superbet, as the new Main Sponsor of Lech Poznań, it was one of the first opportunities to encourage fans to engage in joint activities – and everyone involved did a great job!
This is the second wave of support in cooperation with sports organisations. Earlier, the involvement of fans in the Speedway Grand Prix stands resulted in support for the Polish Motor Association Foundation. The subject of diabetes is also no stranger to Superbet either – during a challenge on the Strava app, together with cycling enthusiasts, we managed to raise over PLN 100,000 for the Polish Diabetes Association.

What city do you come from?
“My hometown is Kherson, a wonderful place that, unfortunately, is currently occupied by the Russian army.”
When did you leave Ukraine?
“I left the country on May 1, but I left my hometown on the first day of the war. It was quite difficult for me. The cities of Kherson and Nikolaiev are a key point for enemy armed forces. For this reason, I am very happy that I had the chance to escape on the first day of the war, since the first tanks appeared on the city streets. The shelling did not stop for a second, and my first instinct was to pack a small bag and go to my parents’ house between Kherson and Nikolaiev.”
What was the state of the war when you left the country?
“At the time, the situation was 50-50 for us. The southern part of the country suffered a lot from the attacks sustained by the Russian armed forces. On the other hand, many of the cities were not affected by this conflagration, especially those in the northern area. We know that Putin’s plan from the beginning was to occupy the southern area in order to have access to the Black Sea. Although many of the country’s major cities were spared from the attacks, people were scared and fled to the border with Poland.”
What was your life like before the war?
“I can say that I was the happiest woman in the world. I had a real estate business in Kherson. I was passionate about Real Estate, and in recent years I continued my ex-husband’s project. I was feeling very well before this war started. I had a quiet life and enjoyed every moment. I was excited because I got to buy a new car. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy it because it was destroyed in the bombings. Going through this, I know that God has a plan for everyone and that everything will be okay at some point.”
Tell us how you left your hometown and how you arrived in Romania?
“The first day of the war was very tense. The tanks of the Russian army occupied the city in 2-3 hours and it was impossible for us to leave the city. All the inhabitants were very frightened and we feared that something very bad would happen. The moment I realized what was happening, I spoke to my father on the phone and he told me to come to my parents’ house between Kherson and Nikolaiev. Right after the talk with my father I also talked with my sister and she told me that her husband was notified from work that important points of the city were destroyed. I had to leave very quickly, and in order to avoid the areas occupied by Russian tanks, I had to go to my parents’ house only on unpaved roads. For 60 days I stayed with my parents and lived with the vegetables they grew in their own yard. After exactly 60 days, the Russian army began to attack my parents’ village, at which point my car was destroyed by one of the Russians’ missiles. That day I was very scared, I went out into the street and saw the house of our neighbors turned into a ruin. We thought there would be no survivors after such an attack, but luck was on our neighbor’s side. 200m away from the house he was under his own roof torn off by the impact of the rocket. We welcomed him to our place and he told us that he is quite worried about his daughters in Nikolaiev. We decided to leave together, and in the car I was driving there were only people, no luggage. Our goal was to get as many people from the village as possible and leave as soon as possible. Only I managed to get 6 people in the car and we headed to Chilia. In that locality I received a home from a friend in Lithuania. My parents never traveled outside the country, and not having a passport was quite a problem for them. I decided to come to Romania myself, and in case I find a solution and accommodation, I will also invite them to stay together after they solve the document problem”
How were you greeted by the authorities when you arrived in the country?
“I left for Romania by bus from Odessa. It’s been quite a long road, though”
The Superbet Foundation finances the “Community Grandparents” project

“Whoever doesn’t have old people, should buy them” says an old proverb from the people. We prefer to take care of our own, which is why we chose to finance the “Community Grandparents” project initiated by the Caritas Association in partnership with Aunt Paula.
The elderly represent a people’s source of wisdom, and the Superbet Foundation considers their care and support to be a priority in order to pass on their teachings to posterity.
Unfortunately, many are in difficult situations both financially and medically, but with Auntie Paula’s help and our support, they can enjoy their old age comfortably.
With a total support of 42,000 lei, the Superbet Foundation joined this project out of the desire to ease the burdens of old age for many of the elderly left without support. Often, the elderly are left to their own devices, forced to carry all the burdens placed on their shoulders behind them with the passage of time. For this reason, many cannot talk about their situation with a smile on their face, but a little kindness and help from us can radically change their lives.
Periodically, Aunt Paula crosses the threshold of the elderly to help them both with household chores and to offer them moral and religious advice.
Maintaining a spiritual and social balance remains an important aspect for the elderly, this being the main goal of the project.
We want to build a better world for the elderly everywhere, and the involvement of the Superbet Foundation is only a first step towards helping the elderly in need. For sure, the burdens of age will not stop appearing, but our help can turn them into simple aspects that can be easily overcome.
